SENIOR MARKETING, TICKETING AND RESERVATION OFFICER

A Travel management firm with head office in Lagos and a branch in Abuja, is seeking the services of a qualified candidate for the position of Marketing, Ticketing and reservation officer.

Job Title: Ticketing and Reservation Officer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, or coordinate the reservation and ticketing function for the organization.
• Make and confirm reservations for passengers and sell tickets to travellers.
• Answer phone calls and offer suggestions on travel arrangements.
• Quote fares and room rates and provide travel information.
• Make and confirm transportation and hotel reservations, using a computer.
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others.
• Document and record information.
• Establish and maintain relationships.
• Make decisions and solve problems.
• Explain the meaning of information to others.
• Organize, plan, and prioritize work.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of B. SC in any related course.
• Minimum of at least 3-5 years experience with any travel management/aviation company.
• IATA foundation diploma and professional level.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to effectively manage client accounts, Ability to use two GDS (Amadeus ,Sabre and Galileo.
•  Must be adaptable, problem solver and possess the ability to effectively communicate to both clients and new customers.  
• Good knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office, power point and Excel.  
• Have the ability to ratiocinate under pressure. 
•   Must be a team player.
